	Sweet Seasons' name represents the time of life the ladies are experiencing, and also stands for the wonderful music they perform. The group is comprised of five busy women who met in a dance class called Dance and Funk that was choreographed and taught by Syd, one of the singers. They have all been touched by music their whole lives, and being in this organization is giving them the opportunity to perform and share their musical talents. They will have you singing and clapping to their song choices, a variety of pop, Broadway, rock and roll, standards and more, just like the mix of backgrounds of the members of the group. The singers are Syd Berman , Mary Guss, (also guitar), Michelle Wiggs, Danuta Fein, (also percussion), and Tatiana Ferraro. 	The Shaut family presents "Swinging Moments Cabaret," the eighth annual fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Association. The event honors the memory of our family’s beloved grandmother Marie Wojcio, who lived with Alzheimer's Disease for over a decade. The annual event has raised over $30,000 for the Alzheimer's Association so far. This cabaret-style event showcases some of the top musicians, vocalists and dancers in the Hudson Valley and metro NYC area. Delicious desserts and raffles will be available during the show. Dancing is welcome. International Lindy Hop performers and "So You Think You Can Dance" Finalists Evita Arce and Michael Jagger will be up from NYC to make special appearances with SJP for this high-energy fun-filled evening. They bring an exuberant energy and joy to every project, whether it's teaching Swing classes worldwide or performing in renowned theaters. 	Jim Lord is an American folk/rock singer/songwriter and musician.Early influences included such artists as James Taylor and Leonard Cohen.He performed throughout Britain as a headliner and also shared the bill with such artists as Bert Jansch, Tim Hardin and Elvis Costello.After returning to the United States, Lord shared the bill with such artists as Richie Havens, The Rowan Brothers, Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, Sam & Dave, Vassar Clements, Albert King and Brewer & Shipley, among others.Lord's first album “Inside Out”, produced by former “Fugs’ guitarist Ken Pine and released on the Inlet Records label in October 1982, was a Billboard Magazine Top Billboard Album Pick.Lord's second album “Hangdog Heaven”, released on the Blue Vinyl Records label in March 2000 and produced by Ken Pine and Larry Gates, was characterized by the New York Post as a "...dozen-song man-and-a-guitar disc [that] freely crosses the borders of folk rock, contemporary country and old-fashioned jazz guitar."

	The ensemble, conducted by Karl in the fashion he has pioneered with the Karl Berger Improvisers Orchestra, blends and harmonizes improvised sounds based on an intuitive process of detailed listening, dynamics, tuning and conducting. It features a mix of horn, reed, string and percussion players. The music is based on simple, memorable melodies composed by Karl Berger, Ornette Coleman, Don Cherry and others, and on the improvised contributions by each player that are transmitted back to the ensemble through Karl’s unique way of intuitive conducting.
