Seattle based Guitarist Frank Kohl travels east in support of his new CD "Invisible Man". Frank released his first record "Reform" in 1981 featuring world famous bassist Michael Moore. In the SF Bay area he became a member of Don McCaslin Sr’s band Warmth. He now lives in Seattle, and in 2008 released his CD "Coast To Coast" featuring Pianist and brother Tom Kohl. All About Jazz gives the CD 5 stars, stating "from first to last Coast To Coast is done with a memorable conviction and even greater facility".

Peekskill, NY   See Map
Mike Milazzo is an accomplished singer/songwriter and guitarist who blends rock, folk, country, and blues into a distinctive Americana sound. Mike takes his wooden and electric instruments and creates a raw, heartfelt, singular sound. His most recent CD, "Love Is A Cage" features an eclectic mix of songs, honed by hundreds of live performances and showcasing Milazzo's years of performing. Reflective of his time spent in NYC, the CD has come from broken relationships, interactions gone wrong, and stories of lost love affairs of the past.

"During his set he will cover big name acts from Muddy Waters to Johnny Cash ... We think of Elvis Costello at times" - William Glenn

Mike has performed as an opening act for Donovan, Richie Havens, and Levon Helm. We're excited to present Mike & Broken Arrow to our 12 Grapes stage.

Acoustic, Singer-Songwriter
12 Grapes Music & Wine Bar
12 North Division Street
Peekskill, NY   See Map
The Lagond Songwriter Session was created at Lagond Music School and combines the songs and personalities of singer/songwriters Ethan Tardio and Jessi Mason. With original music and covers alike, the duo plays an eclectic mix of folk, pop, and rock. We're proud to welcome Jessi and Ethan as part of the Lagond Songwriter Session.

Jessi Mason creates folk-influenced songs that convey compelling stories of her “serendipitous adventures and hopeless romanticism”. Ethan Tardio plays a mix of rock, folk and blues music. Both are Lagond students committed to their craft.

Lagond Music School, located in Elmsford, is dedicated to contemporary music education and live music performance, serving students throughout Westchester and surrounding counties.

**Free Admission** Thank you for supporting live local music and the musicians we so admire.

Bumper Jacksons
Swing/Jump, Big Band, Jazz, and Singer-Songwriter
Hootenanny Cafe Mini Concerts
Online: www.wtbq.com or 93.5FM, NY   See Map
The Bumper Jacksons are a big, fat party, painting America's story from New Orleans' brothels to Appalachian hollers. Featuring powerful jazz vocals and clever original songs, the group is steeped strongly in early, danceable sounds of jump blues and country swing. Unafraid to scrap together new sounds from forgotten 78's, the Bumper Jacksons boldly and elegantly balance paying homage to the traditions while fashioning their own unique, DIY style. Trombones battle clarinets and kazoos. Playful, genre-exploding originals pepper their sets. One minute a festival party dance band, another moment summoning vulnerability and sparsity, celebrating the quiet. A Bumper Jacksons show is an exhilarating ride between the tender and the ferocious. Recognized as the "Best Folk Band" at the 2013 and 2014 Washington Area Music Awards, the Bumper Jacksons have positioned themselves squarely at the helm of the young roots music scene pioneering a new, fresh take on American music.
