	East Coast Canadian songwriter Ian Foster comes from a place of stories, and knows how to tell them. A road worn troubadour who has been described as having a keen poetic sense and a searcher’s infinite wisdom in his writing, he can also make you laugh between the songs when you see him live. He writes in a modern style and exudes a love of storytelling in the finest tradition of folk music. CBC’s Bob Mersereau described him as being “a fine example of what a 21st century folk performer should be doing.” His latest album, The Great Wave (released 2014) has already taken him through Canada and Europe, and has recently earned him four MusicNL nominations, including FACTOR Album of the Year, and Male Artist of the Year.
