Described as "the future of the blues" by Bill Dahl (Chicago Tribune) circa 1996, Clarence’s sound has become more distinguishable now than ever before.
Raised in Harlem, Jerry Dugger caught the music bug early, introduced to the New York City Blues scene by way of the now infamous Dan Lynch Blues Bar. He spent the next thirteen years learning to play bass and sing, while hosting Saturday and Sunday Blues Jams. Jerry Shared his stage with Stevie Ray Vaughan, Johnny Copeland, and James Cotton, among others. His bass/baritone vocals and thunderous bass-playing earned him a place in the New York Blues Hall of Fame. Jerry's band "The Dugger Brothers" are a staple on the New York City Blues scene.
