The FALCON
Jazz, Rock, Blues, R&B, Soul, Gospel, Big Band, Folk, Contemporary, Chamber

For nine years and nearly 300 performances, art & music promoter, Tony Falco, presented some of the most respected and creative artists working in music today, in what became a legendary private concert venue over the magnificent barn he’d built behind his home.

On November 27, 2009, The Falcon opened the doors to its new home, listening room and art gallery; a 19th century factory building perched over Marlboro Falls at 1348 Route 9W, Marlboro NY. Here it will continue to present the most well regarded musicians in traditional & contemporary jazz, blues, soul, folk, world, rock, big band & chamber music.

The Falcon welcomes everyone, with no cover charge, no minimum, no tickets. Those who can are encouraged to feed our donation box, a symbol of democracy in the arts. This fund goes directly to the performing musicians, demonstrating our respect & gratitude for their skill, contribution and livelihood.

Clarence Spady ~ "One of those rare surprises that smacks you upside the head and lets you know how lucky you are to be able to the listen to music." - Vintage Guitar Magazine

Described as "the future of the blues" by Bill Dahl (Chicago Tribune) circa 1996, Clarence’s sound has become more distinguishable now than ever before.

Raised in Harlem, Jerry Dugger caught the music bug early, introduced to the New York City Blues scene by way of the now infamous Dan Lynch Blues Bar. He spent the next thirteen years learning to play bass and sing, while hosting Saturday and Sunday Blues Jams. Jerry Shared his stage with Stevie Ray Vaughan, Johnny Copeland, and James Cotton, among others. His bass/baritone vocals and thunderous bass-playing earned him a place in the New York Blues Hall of Fame. Jerry's band "The Dugger Brothers" are a staple on the New York City Blues scene.

Marlboro, NY   See Map
"Barone is uniquely qualified to reinterpret these ‘60s classics; throughout his career, first with The Bongos and then as a solo artist, his work has shown the influence of the pop, rock and folk singer-songwriters who lived and worked in the Village neighborhood where Richard has lived since the mid-1980s." -- Mitchell Cohen / Music Journalist, Author.

Rob Norris is best known as the bassist for The Bongos--the founding fathers of the '80's Hoboken NJ indie-music scene. He also plays with Blue Paradox, East Of Venus, Tulula!, Living With Elephants, OmU (who have twice toured Cuba), Richard Barone & Friends, Joan Henry & Noyeh-Ongeh, Mother Earth and Bibi Farber.

Celebrated Jazz Vocalist Judi Silvano’s joyous discovery of the “Dueto Andaluz” Flamenco group several years ago in Mexico, inspired this evening’s music and dance collaboration. She joins Grammy Winner Joe Lovano in presenting original compositions and improvisations with this special ensemble.

Dueto Andaluz - Alegrías: https://youtu.be/KekZKsto9jU

Featuring: special guests “Dueto Andaluz”, with music by Lovano, Silvano, Albenez, Bizet, Alegrias

Most jazz musicians are flexible: it’s a philosophical requirement of the job....Joe Lovano is an extreme case, moving toward universality.

Kids Are Pretty People (Live At Newport): https://youtu.be/xIowxBccEh0

The voice of Judi Silvano, whose wordless vocals mesh beautifully in both ensemble and in improvised passages with husband, Joe Lovano, is versatile enough to present The Jazz Standards, or the unique work of Thelonious Monk, or of American women composers, or her own originals about the dance of life.
