Annette A. Aguilar (multi-percussionist, Band leader recording artist, producer and educator.) was born in San Francisco into a family from Nicaragua.
At the age of 16 she was sitting in and performing with renowned Latin artists from Santana, Cal Tjader and Pete and Sheila Escovedo (Sheila E). Annette has toured internationally and has performed and shared the stage with Stevie Wonder, The Grateful Dead, Darlene Love, Jefferson airplane, The Four Tops, Tito Puente, Dave Valentine, Ray Brown, and Mose Allison, among others. She also has toured with Grammy award winning Broadway shows, has recorded for T.V. and film, and has been the principal timpanist for the Bronx Symphony since 1997. Arcoiris Sandoval is a jazz pianist and composer leading her own group, Sonic Asylum. She is also the Co-director of The D.O.M.E. Experience orchestra along with bassist Mimi Jones and is the pianist and musical director for acclaimed vocalist Allan Harris. Sandoval began her Sonic Asylum project in 2016 performing for the Milt Hinton jazz festival held at Baruch College in Manhattan. Since then, Sonic Asylum has performed at the Kennedy Center, Vermont Jazz Festival, and regularly around NYC venues and has held a trio residency at Zinc Bar since 2022. Her debut album First Voyage won a Global Music Award in 2018 and Sandoval's original composition "Journey to Agartha" is now published in Terri Lyne Carrington's compilation called "New Standards, 101 Lead Sheets by Women Composers". $20 adm. Peekskill native, NYFA (New York Foundation For The Arts) grant recipient Fred Gillen Jr has released nine full-length albums, to great critical acclaim, and has toured all over the U.S. and Europe. His songs have been featured on ABC's "All My Children," NPR's "Car Talk," CMJ's New Music Marathon Sampler, and in 2012 his version of Woody Guthrie's "I Ain't Got No Home" was featured on "Pete Remembers Woody," a collection of Pete Seeger's spoken stories about Woody Guthrie. Like Guthrie, his songs often reflect the struggles of the marginalized and forgotten, shining a light on both the despair and hope in the human condition. His live performances are spontaneous celebrations of all that it is to be human, he encourages participation, and he works hard to eliminate the "fourth wall" between performer and audience.

Nate Liebert is a guitarist, composer and arranger.
Raised by Alt Rock and Indie bands such as Radiohead, Wilco and MGMT, he felt a curious magnetism towards any song that had layered guitar parts in harmony. To feed this fascination, Nate dug through his father's record collection and eventually discovered the colorful extended harmonic language of jazz albums such as Miles's Kind of Blue and Coltrane's A Love Supreme. Before long, he spent every moment admiring and aspiring to the works of musicians such as Pat Metheny, Allan Holdsworth, Herbie Hancock, and anyone connected to them. Neil graduated from SUNY New Paltz in 2019 with a BS in Jazz Performance for Guitar, studying under Mark Dziuba. Stix Bones graduated Purchase College, SUNY with a BA in Jazz Performance and started his career touring with Rahzel the Godfather of Noise (The Roots) in the UK and France. Erena Terakubo was born in Sapporo, Japan. She began playing the alto saxophone at the age of nine and had jazz clinics with musicians including Herbie Hancock when she was attending Sapporo Junior Jazz Orchedtra. Her first album, "North Bird" with Kenny Barron , Christian McBride , Lee Pearson , and Peter Bernstein reached no.1 on the Japanese jazz charts and was awarded Swing Journal's Gold Disc. In 2011 and 2013, Terakubo recorded her second and third CD, "New York Attitude" and "Burkina" with Kenny Barron, Ron Carter, Lee Pearson, Dominick Farinacci, Jimmy Cobb, and Lenny White. In 2015, she moved to New York and released her fourth disc, "A Time For Love" with David Hazeltine, David Williams, Lewis Nash. The album was released worldwide.

Bittersweet Descent is comprised of Mark Grossman (guitar/vocals), Krisana Soponpong (bass), Jamie Altieri (guitar/vocals), and Pat DePellonia (drums). The band's primary focus is crafting and performing original, genre-busting, high-energy material with which any audience can instantly connect. Live shows are also peppered with covers of a variety of alternative and classic rock bands, along with folk, country, and punk covers. The band, with former drummer Jesse Weiss, recorded a six-song EP which is being released, and the title track is now available for streaming on all platforms. Grossman and Soponpong, along with drummer Chris Perna, worked together to record six singles of Grossman's original material, which are all available under his name on all streaming platforms, and which served as the songs that launched Bittersweet Descent's catalogue of original songs.
