Shelley King leads listeners through electric Southern blues and acoustic folk, revved-up Cajun country and rock and roll with a charismatic ease that evidences the resilience of a lifelong performer.

She has won Austin Music Awards for Song of the Year and Best Roots Rock Band. The Texas Legislature appointed her to represent the state as it’s Official Texas State Artist - Musician; an honor similar to poet laureate.

She has released seven albums of original music to rave reviews and radio chart success and tours relentlessly, performing over 180 dates a year across the world. Her songs have been recorded by numerous national and international artists and appeared in feature films.

Shelley’s most recent CD “Building a Fire”, the second recorded with members of New Orleans favorite sons, The Subdudes, has affirmed King’s place as master of her own style of Americana blues.

"Carolyn Wonderland's live shows are top notch, five-stars, off the meter! ... as powerful as a Class 5 hurricane." - Rockzillaworld Magazine

The reigning queen of Austin blues, Carolyn Wonderland sparks fire on guitar and soulful fury in the force of her vocal grit. Since 2011's Peace Meal, reveling in Wonderland's rough and raw Janis Joplin-esque howl and burn-down blues, she's lent her impeccable riffs to a number of albums, including The Stooges' James Williamson's, Re-licked.

In Wonderland's fifth studio album "Moon Goes Missing", the qualities that have cemented her notoriety in the Texas blues and rock scene are on full display. Even with the success of her studio albums, Carolyn shines brightest in live performance, winning legions of fans with her take-no-prisoners approach to the stage.

Poughkeepsie, NY   See Map
Start with deep roots in traditional folk music, add musical versatility, mix in both historical and contemporary themes, all seasoned with a healthy dose of good-natured humor, then enjoy a performance by Kevin & Carol Becker with Rich Keyes.

Performing together regularly for over twenty years, Kevin, Carol, and Rich have developed a unique sound that combines breathtaking vocals, instrumental dexterity, and a synergy that comes only from an intimate knowledge of each other's talents. That sound starts with Kevin's intricate finger picked guitar, augmented by his impeccable harmonica playing. Carol's soaring vocals, clear, bright, and pure, stand out when solo and form compelling harmonies with Kevin's soothing, blending voice. It's all anchored by Rich's solid rhythms on upright bass and his driving bluegrass-influenced banjo. They feature other instruments as well, notably mountain dulcimer, recorder, bodhran, Appalachian limber horse, and various whistles.

with Rodney Green & Camden Chronicles

Marlboro, NY   See Map
At the age of 16, Rodney stepped into the drum seat at Patti LaBelle's club, Chez LaBelle. Soon Green was booking musicians like pianist, Orrin Evans and saxophonist Sam Newsome at the club.

Legendary musician, Bobby Watson was so impressed with the young drummer that he called his parents to ask their permission to take Green to Italy with him, and after much persuasion, they agreed.

With a recommendation from bassist, Ben Wolfe, Green joined the band of vocalist Diana Krall at the age of 19. His two-year tenure with Krall taught him a great deal about the business of music.

Today, Rodney Green is a seasoned professional with experience and skill beyond his years. Rodney's new album “Live at Jazzhus Montmartre” in Copenhagen (2017) features Warren Wolf, David Wong and Jacob Christoffersen.

Marlboro, NY   See Map
Formed in 2007 Tenores de Aterúe has studied and performed traditional songs from the Mediterranean island of Sardinia. The entrancing guttural sounds, overtones, and rhythmic precision of the traditional singing form called cantu a tenore led UNESCO to declare it a “Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity”. In addition to Sardinian, the quartet also studies and performs Corsican and Italian choral folk music.

The Tenores are the only ensemble outside of Sardinia dedicated to singing cantu a tenore, and have been in-demand performers on stages throughout the US, Canada, and Sardinia. They have appeared on VPR, WFMU NYC, BBC Radio, Sardinia’s Radio Barbagia and TCS Television.

The ensemble released their first studio recording in 2016. Aterúe, the Singers from Elsewhere, a film about the group’s encounters with the living world of cantu a tenore, is scheduled for release in the spring of 2018.

"It's all about the song. It has to be. If it isn't, then as far as I'm concerned, you're missing the point." - Pat O'Shea

His resume is equally impressive and includes six years playing guitar for the legendary Levon Helm, countless shows backing Blues greats James Cotton and Hubert Sumlin, as well as collaborations with Jimmy Vivino (Conan O’Brien, The Fab Faux), David Johansen (The New York Dolls) and Larry Campbell (Bob Dylan) among others.

O’Shea’s songs are pure American music, influenced equally by heartland Country, down-home Blues and straight ahead Rock n Roll. His thoughtful lyrics, inspirational melodies and powerful arrangements will rock you hard, let you down easy and take you everywhere in between.

"With his huge, blast-furnace sound, larger-than-life personality, and massive frame, Grammy Award-winning harmonica master James “Superharp” Cotton was a blues giant in every respect. "

James Cotton 1935-2017

Many of Mr. Cotton’s lasting early contributions came during his first tenure with Muddy Waters, in Chicago, where from 1954 to 1966 he played in a band that included the guitarist Jimmy Rogers and the pianist Otis Spann.

Dealin' with the Devil: https://youtu.be/PCwtdvwVzho

Slam Allen perfected his already refined entertainer persona in James Cotton's Blues Band, with which he toured for nine years, first as rhythm guitarist, then as lead guitarist and eventually bandleader. Slam has an uncanny ability to hook an audience, a good-time vibe, ever smiling, upbeat and energetic.

A seasoned and internationally recognized touring veteran, Slam Allen is more than a singer, songwriter, and guitar player.

Ivan Polanco is a Pop/R&B artist whose unique blend of soulful vocals and rhythmic guitar sounds has been catching the attention of audience members in venues around the tri-state area and west coast, as well as at festivals and college tours.

Ivan's original songs capture the singer/songwriter pop sensibilities of Ed Sheeran with the fun and upbeat rhythms of John Mayer, embodying an eclectic musical style that separates him from other performers. As a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and engineer, Ivan has four albums to his name. For his latest CD, "Nice", Ivan also released single from the album as a youtube video.

Join us for Ivan Polanco & Friends in a night of original and covers in the Pop/R&B style.
