Gifted singer, songwriter and solo performer, Lyn Hardy's song, "THE BALLAD OF FRANCINE HUGHES" has been chosen by the Smithsonian Institution for a four-CD collection of "New" folk songs titled, "FOLK SONG AMERICA - A 20th CENTURY REVIVAL". Lyn's song with David Hornungs, "GIRL IN THE RED VELVET DRESS" was recorded by Ronnie Gilbert on her album, "LOVE WILL FIND A WAY". Hardy's performances have been described as rich, honest, strong, stirring and straight from the heart. She has a reputation for rock solid rhythm guitar-playing, from her years of experience in square, contra and swing.
